Just some updates

Well I haven't been on here lately, things have been really busy. Our Thanksgiving was good, thought the days leading into it my whole household had the stomach bug. YUK!!! I was praying Attikus didn't get, he didn't thank goodness!

I did get to go shopping on black friday. I got all my Christmas shopping done on that day. I'm so glad, now I have to wrap. I really don't like wrapping presents. I like to use bags alot!ha

Araeyah went a month ago for a speech evaluation, they sent her to the audialogist. So Thursday Dec. 4th she had a audiogram done. Well she didn't pass, so we went to see the ENT today. We knew she had lost a tube in Aug. He has decided to put the tube back in along wiht removing her adnoids. So on Monday Dec. 15th she will go in for minor surgery. I think I'm dreading the sedation more than anything. I have side affect when I'm sedated, so I don't know how she will do. She will go back to have her hearing done after all this. I hope she does better on the test. I don't know what all they will do, so i will post when I know more.

Last week Ellarie had a hard week at school. She got in trouble 3 times for the week and had to see the director of the pre-school. Good news is that so far this week is going alot better!

Now for the fact that I prayed that Attikus wouldn't get the stomach bug during Thanksgiving break. Well he decided to get it yesterday. yep! You know those cartoons of a child throwing up and it just goes every where? Well that is what he did, but we weren't home. Nope we were at Johnnies eating. I was covered and now know how my miss Araeyah feels when she wets her pants. I couldn't get home fast enough!

Now for even better news!!! Araeyah is going on 2 1/2 wks of wearing panties! WOO HOO! She stills has accidents but I think we finally hit a turning point.

Yes I said THEM!!!!!! My kids, sometimes I wonder what goes through their head. First of all my 2yr old, OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH my 2 yr old. Right there makes me TIRED! If it's possible, she will find a way.

Tonight, I hear Uh Oh, I think we lost them. (Ellarie)
(Me) Lost what?
(Ellarie) Our toothbrushes!
(Me) How?
(Ellarie) In the TOILET!
(Me) Get them out!
(Ellarie) I FLUSHED IT!
(Me) WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Ellarie) I flushed it to get them out! She says this while her arms are Dripping All Through My House!

So yes, free to good home, or whoever wants them. I need a VACATION!!!!!!!!!!!!

(Ellarie) just came in and said next time I can get them out! What do you mean NEXT time!

(ME) THEY DO NOT BELONG IN THE TOILET!

Ok, yes I know it's been a while since I posted. Things have been crazy around here. I have been trying to potty train my STUBBORN 2yr old. Those that know her, you know what I'm going through! The kids is in TOTAL CONTROL! She knows what she is doing, but she will only go if it's on her terms. She will even take her panties off, and go and put her pull up on to tinkle in it.(Right in front of the toilet) So I give up, I will be buying her depends when she is in high scholl!!!!

Well I didn't get to go to work today. Araeyah decided to be up all night vomiting. Found out later today that she had some of ehr sisters CHEESE, and YOGURT! Also a hot dog bun. Can we say having a milk allergy is fun. So hope to go back tomorrow.

I just set up Attikus crib yesterday, and that is were he wants to be all the time. He loves that bed. I was hoping to keep him in the co-sleeper a little longer. I don't think he got the message that he is my last, and is suppose to be the baby! He is already trying to sit. I took him for his 5mos pictures yesterday. He did so good, and they turned out great. I'll post them later, we did find out he isn't good wiht props. He wouldn't look at the camera or me. He loved the props!

Ellarie is learning so much in school. Also she is getting in trouble. She won't stop talking! She comes by it honestly!

Well that's it for now. I'm tired, just thought I would share a slide show of a few things from our Disney trip! We had a lot of FUN!

Race for the Cure

Ok, well the time has come for Race for the Cure! This is a big deal in our family, for my MOM is a SURVIVOR, my friend and co-teacher is a SURVIVOR, and in MEMORY of my Aunt and my Friend Melinda(I have her son in my class this year, Yipee), whose blog is on my list.

We race for a cure for me, my kids, my friends and for everyone else. I will be setting up a team in the next few days and would love to have others join. It is a special time, and it's a special feeling to participate. If you haven't done it, then you should give it a try. If anyone is interested, please let me know. I will have a link soon to the team page, you would be able to sign up there too. I would love to have at least 20 people on the team.

As always don't forget your monthly exam, for that is how my mom found hers!
