Good News

Just thought I would post an update about my niece. She did get to come home this evening. She needs to stay clear of people for awhile. Good news though. Now if I could just get some sleep. Attikus hasn't been feeling to well so he is up most of the nights. I also went shoppin today and got a good deal at Gymboree. They had the clothes 20%off, plus I had a 20% off purchase and the gymbo card gives you 5%, plus no Tax. Really good deal, I'm happy!

School Shopping; This and That

Well today was a sad day for me. I went school supply shopping for Ellarie. I can't believe she is old enough for school already. She is excited about starting school, and that's great. It was crazy at walmart. Yes walmart, my home away from home. I think I'm there every day or every other day. Even when I'm on vacation. Today wasn't a bad trip because my father kept the girls and it was so much more peaceful. Til you made it to the school isle, it was so packed. I'm glad I only had a few items to pick up. Didn't do to much damage to the pocket book.

The girls had fun today, my dad took them swimming. They really haven't gotten to swim with him this summer. I wish I had taken some pictures.

There is still nothing new about my niece. She didn't sleep last night unless someone held her. She missed her bed. So my poor brother had to come home this morning to get some sleep after holding her all night. Don't know when she will get to come home. Just keep her in your prayers.

ELLARIE'S PRAYER: Father in Heaven hear my prayer, keep me in thy loving care, be my guide in all I do, Bless all those who love me to. AMEN

She says this every night, along with are nighlty "I Love You To The Moon And Back; Always Remember That!"

I start back to work on Wednesday, I guess it's good and bad. I'm ready to get back, but it just makes the year go by even faster. Then that means my little boy will be growing up. Yes, he is my baby. Though I try not to baby him, but he is my last. God has truly blessed us.

It Was A Long Friday!

Well I finally got a computer, no more having to go to my mom's to do something. I stayed up late and hooked it up last night. Did you know cox is available 24hrs. I found that out at midnight. I couldn't get the internet working. Found out the problem was them, now we are up and running.

Araeyah noticed the computer first thing this morning, she was sitting here typing away. I think we are going to hook our old one up to run their games.
This week I had my 14 yr old cousin all week, and I don't know what I'm going to do next week. Anyways, I decide to go to the mall today instead of when everyone is out this weekend. WELL! Today apparantly wasn't a good day for my kids to shop. I never had so much problems with them. First they were so cranky, including A.J. Araeyah just wanted to stay home I think, and Ellarie just was being a 4yr old. I'm not looking forward to the tennage yr. Anyways got a few things, but was so tired of messing with the fussiness that we left.

I think that was God's way of me not spending money, but I know the real reason. On the way out of the mall my brother called and said they were putting my niece into the hospital. My niece is only 3wks younger than A.J. She was running a 103 temp. The whole family has had a virus going around between them, and my brother and sister-in-law both have strep. Anyways, got a phone call and my niece has meningitis (sp?) They think it's virul meningitis, but still poor thing has to have a spinal done and everything. Just keep her and the family in your prayers.

So know I'm off topic, but with the discussion of my brother it made me think again. My brother and I were raised in a church. We did have our times when we were teenagers, and had a hard time going to church. I was able to get my self back on track thanks to a great church that my husband and I found. That is a great feeling having a church family to turn to and raise your family in. My brother had a rough time with a youth director and since hasn't gone back. My family and I pray that they would find a church. I pray that my nieces will know God. I can see were God would be great for my brother's family. I know this time with my niece in the hospital, I wish it would open my brothers eyes and show him how much a church family would just make it a bigger Christian family.
Brooklyn, thanks for coming into our family's lives. My kids are blessed to have your kids around, and I know I'm grateful for your friendship and other friends you have brought into my life.

While I'm at it, I pray that God will show me how to accept my sister-in-laws. I pray that one day I will be closer that just sister-in-laws. I've always wanted a sister/friend and just maybe that will happen one day. I can tell it has with my mom and my dad's sister they are closer now since my mom's cancer.

Because I thought this was to funny!

The week before I start work

Well here is to my last week before I start getting ready for a new school yr. The summer has gone by way to fast. The girls are out of school till mid Aug. This week I also have my cousin (whose birthday is the 31st, so Happy Birthday!) She is a life saver. My girls love being with her and she helps ALOT! She swims with the girls, plays with the girls and even chases Araeyah. I decided that Tuesday would be a good day to go the Jasmine Moran Children's Museum http://www.jasminemoran.com/frameset.html

The girls have never been there, and Ellarie was excited to go to the Moozeum. Love how kids come up with words. They had so much fun, the bubble factory, water, Dinosaur dig was fun and of course the slide was a hit. My girls wouldn't stop playing. The favorite was the Grocery Store, they wanted in there every time I turned around. Araeyah just wanted to push the shopping cart everywhere (she was a crazy girl that didn't care if you or your feet were in the way) I think I will be wearing band aids for a few more days, my heels hurt. haha

To my surprise about 15min into the museum I turn around and there's the Vogler Family. It was so good to see them, I've been wanting to get with them this summer. Ellarie and Samuel had fun seeing each other, and Eli kept saying look mommy look. He knew he knew us, and Cute little Benjamin was getting so big. I will definitly be going there again. Oh! also they love the military so much I got half of addmission, nothing like saving a little money, of course it went to gas. It was a good day. and alot of fun spending hands on with my kids.

I'm way behind

Sorry I'm really behind. I had family in from California. We only get to see them once a year. It was alot of fun, my cousin that is in college came down too, I haven't seen her in 4yrs since I went over for her sisters wedding. This week was crazy, but alot of fun. The girls also had their last day of school for the summer. Ellarie now wants to know when Ava and Stella are coming to swim. So Brooklyn we need to plan. Ellarie should be starting school by mid August and I start back to work the 6th of Aug. The summer has gone tooooooo fast. It was a great summer in all, the girls got to go to the lake and catch some fish.

Ellarie also learned how to swim. She went down the slide and her arm floaties flew off, she has been swimming ever since. Araeyah also is a little fish in the water, she loves to go down the slide. Attikus is pretty content in the water too, he just smiles real big at me when he is in the water.

Bed procrastination

I don't know about anyone else, but putting my 4yr old to bed makes me soooooooo tired. I think she comes up with every excuse. First thing on the list will be story. I try to read a story just her and I. She is having some attention issues. I don't blame her. Next thing would be prayer, a special time for her to pray for what she has on her mind. It's starts off so sweet; thank you for my family, my friends, my grandparents, etc......THEN the mind wonders. Thank you for the light, tv, my pj's, I'm trying to stay focuse but by then I swear it's been 15 min. I finally have to shut her off. So, IN THE NAME WE PRAY is how she finishes. Mind you that was just #2 on our list. So about 5 min, I hear footsteps down the hall. MOMMY, yes I say: I LOVE YOU! I love you too, now you need to go to bed. About another 5 min, MOMMY: Go to bed I say. BUT I NEED TO TELL YOU SOMETHING: What I say WHEN IT"S MORNING TIME CAN I WATCH TV? We'll see I say This time I think is was about 2min, MOMMY: Go to bed; BUT I HAVE TO POTTY: So go 5min later I hear her coming, this time I look up and she is in different pj's. This goes on for 30 -45 min, I'M WORN OUT! Finally she's asleep, it's so quiet. Then the BABY wakes about 5min after she falls asleep. SO much for a quiet evening, I'm ready to CRASH. Got to love them, but man I still have 2 more who haven't turned 4 yet!
